Pre-Kindergarten
Program Outline
Between the ages of two and three, children undergo rapid development in thinking, language, movement, and emotional awareness. Pre-K introduces academic concepts through engaging play-based activities, encouraging children to explore and discover the world around them. At the same time, they are guided to develop independence and practical life skills, empowering them to confidently navigate their environment while building a strong foundation for future learning.
What Your Child Will Learn
Language Development
Pre-K children expand their language skills through interactive storytelling, songs, and activities that introduce early reading and writing concepts. They begin forming simple sentences, experimenting with new words, and connecting language with gestures for better expression.
Numeracy
Children explore foundational math skills like counting, sorting, and recognizing basic shapes and patterns. Hands-on activities such as puzzles and matching games help them build problem-solving abilities while reinforcing spatial understanding.
Social and Emotional Development
In Pre-K, children are encouraged to share, take turns, and interact with their peers, fostering a sense of teamwork and collaboration. Emotional growth is supported through activities that help them recognize and express their feelings confidently.
Cognitive Development
Cognitive skills are developed through imaginative play, structured routines, and problem-solving activities. Children begin to understand cause-and-effect relationships and gain awareness of their surroundings through exploratory learning.
Fine and Gross Motor Skills
Motor skills are enhanced through activities like painting, puzzle-solving, and building with blocks. Outdoor play and structured games further develop physical coordination and movement skills like climbing and running.
