Toddlers

Program Outline

Our Toddler classes provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children learn through play and exploration. The focus is on fostering the development of fine and gross motor skills, early cognitive growth, language acquisition, and social interactions. Engaging activities such as storytime, music and movement, art, sensory play, and simple games are thoughtfully designed to support their learning and development in a fun and enjoyable way. We are committed to creating a safe and supportive space where toddlers can thrive and build confidence.

What Your Child Will Learn

Language Development

Toddlers are introduced to early communication skills through songs, rhymes, and interactive storytelling. They begin recognizing familiar words and sounds, respond to simple commands, and express themselves through gestures and early words like “mama” and “dada.”

Numeracy

Basic math concepts are introduced with fun, play-based activities that involve sorting objects by color and shape, recognizing patterns, and exploring primary colors. These activities build their understanding of sizes and spatial concepts like “in/out” and “up/down.”

Social and Emotional Development

Toddlers are guided to recognize and express their emotions, develop connections with caregivers and peers, and gain confidence in their ability to play independently for short periods. Self-help skills, like putting out an arm to assist with dressing, are also nurtured.

Cognitive Development

Through exploratory play, toddlers develop curiosity, problem-solving skills, and an understanding of routines. Activities like finding hidden objects, copying gestures, and using materials creatively foster cognitive growth.

Fine and Gross Motor Skills

Motor development focuses on activities like building towers with blocks, scribbling with crayons, turning containers, and learning to self-feed with spoons. Physical confidence grows through climbing, pushing wheeled toys, running, and beginning to undress independently.
